Strong Girls Serve: Book Club

together we read, share, and connect

Our Strong Girls meet weekly for book club. Members span a variety of grades from 5th to 8th, and they spread across different middle schools surrounding Athens. Book suggestions come from Athens-area librarians and media specialists, book copies come from local bookshops, and other literary resources come from local organizations such as Books for Keeps. Strong Girls’ book club helps girls build community with one another, as well as stay embedded in the communities around them.
